Chisinau Tours

Explore Chisinau with a Local

Most people visit Chisinau and barely scratch the surface.

They walk around the city center, take a photo at the Triumphal Arch, maybe stop for a coffee—and that's it.

But Chisinau is so much more interesting once you know where (and how) to look.

That's why I've started doing small-group walking tours for curious travelers who want to see the city through local eyes.

All tours are limited to 6 people and filled with stories you won’t find online — perfect if you enjoy authentic, insightful, and intimate experiences.

Soviet Chisinau Walking Tour

Soviet Chisinau Walking Tour

Explore the city’s Soviet side — from Lenin’s statue and the Circus to the WWII Memorial, mosaics, and museums.

This isn’t a “communism nostalgia” tour, but an honest look at the rise and fall of the Soviet Union in Moldova and how locals live among its remnants today.

You’ll experience a slice of daily life in the USSR: ride a trolleybus, have lunch in a canteen, sip a Soviet-era cocktail, and browse the city’s flea market — where pieces of history are still for sale.

Gastronomy Tour of Piata Centrala

Piata Centrala Food Tour

If you really want to understand Chisinau, go to its biggest market. It's loud, chaotic, and full of flavor — an authentic slice of daily life.

We'll explore Piata Centrala together — taste local cheeses, wines, seasonal fruits, homemade sweets, and chat with vendors (many of whom have worked here for decades).

The tour is part tasting, part storytelling, and all about discovering the simple, yet flavorful food locals love to eat.
